Buffy sing alongs. I kid you not. Rocky horror for the Buffy generation.
this is how it works: first the crowd watches an episode to get everyone in the mood. it is usually followed by “Buffy-oke,” a karaoke-like activity which involves re-enacting a classic Buffy scene.
The big sing-along, of course, is done to the famous musical episode, “Once More, With Feeling.” As with all singalongs, the words are displayed on the screen. During the Tara/Willow medley, the crowd blows bubbles into the air. During Spike’s scene, they don fangs. Every time Dawn speaks, the crowd screams at her to shut up. And each time the word “fire” is mentioned, lighters are hoisted high.

I have heard of these sing alongs, but did not know any of the details. That’s awesome! And also very geeky.
